Type of a scam Employment
I applied for a data processing job. Had an online interview with "Perry", who is from India. Told me all about the company, my duties, pay frequency, amount per hour. Said he would get back with me. About 20 mins later he sent me a message on hangouts saying I got the job. Told me he woukd give me the company credit card to purchase software that I would need. Then he changed the story and said he needed my account ino including my username and passwords for my online banking. I argued with him, told him it was a scam. Then he said ok, we will do it a different way. Asked for my cc number. Told him no thanks, and unless he can price to me it wasn’t a scam I was done. Also told him I was reporting him to the BBB. Oh, that’s another thing. On the job site it says they are ScamPulse.com accredited.
