Type of a scam Debt Collections
Calls and tells me he is collecting on a car loan debt. Says the people he is collecting for just wants to go to court but he will make me a deal. If I pay him so much out of what is owed they will call it good. (I’ve never had a car loan). He won’t tell me who the original debt is from. Won’t let me talk to anyone but him. Will not show me any sort of paperwork. Just tells me I must pay or else all of this stuff is going to happen to me and my job/income situation. Says once I pay him then he will give me all the paperwork/information I’m asking for.
