Type of a scam Tax Collection
Received a call from a person claiming to be an IRS agent. The caller stated I would be arrested within the hour if I did not pay $5,900 for under paid taxes for the years 2009 and 2013. The first caller stated I filed taxes under one name and the second caller stated I filed taxes under another name. Both which were untrue. When I asked for proof that I under paid my taxes both caller disconnected the phone; however, the second called advised the police would be at my house shortly to arrest me.
