Also they would call from another city in your state claiming you have won a free grant that you don’t have to pay back. Told them not to call my number. If they call your cell, you have to call your provider and have them block the number.

Threatening phone calls from 716-200-4948. Said they were calling for the U S Treasury. Said we had a Federal Criminal Offense and a law suit was being filed. Said the local sheriff would be around to arrest us. If we did not respond by a call back all they could do was wish us good luck.
We know this is a scam. We don’t owe anyone anything. We are seniors and are sure they are targeting seniors. If there is any way to stop them before they scam other people, it would surely be nice. We periodically receive calls like this. We do not answer the phone. They leave messages.
