Type of a scam Identity Theft

I went through the process of applying for a pre-approved loan as advertised to me in a postal mailing. This offer included an offer code which I simply typed into a screen on their website upstart.com/my offer. To receive payment of loan amount, they requested my user id and password with my banking institution. I stopped the process at this point. However, they now have my SS# which was used to verify my identity. Asking consumers for passwords is unethical.

Total money lost $95

Type of a scam Advance Fee Loan

This is not the real Upstart. They took $95.00 for insurance loans because of my poor credit, but I never got the loans and they refuse to refund me my money.
