Type of a scam Government Grant
Scammer called stating that I’ve been selected to receive a $9000.00 grant that I do not have to pay back. I was given a confirmation code of APK143. They asked for my date of birth, age, and where I work. I lied about all of the info I provided to him just to keep him talking. He then stated that I need to call a secondary number to collect my funds. They said I must activate my $9000.00 grant and register through federal reserve. I advised them that I don’t have the $299 right now. They said I can call back at any time at 2026182522 ext 115.
