Type of a scam Government Grant
Said dept of the govt called saying I was awarded a grant for $8400 . Caller had a heavy Indian accent(from Washington DC) and gave me a code to give out to another payment who claimed the info was correct and they were not a scam or fraud and could provide credentials. They insisted on having a payment of $250 (would be reimbursed by the govt) be placed for a card so they could send the money entirely and if not payed I would lose my chance of payment.I obviously said no, so they hung up.
