Type of a scam Government Grant
I received a call on my cell phone. My caller ID showed Washington. The person had an accent. Told me to write down the telephone number 425-270-8693. Instructed me to call back and ask for Cathy. Give code number GC505. Caller tried to make it sound like I was eligible for a Government Grant. They did not give the amount of the grant. They were calling from United Federal Grants. Did not ask for money. I called the number back. The woman became angry when I asked questions. She used profanity and hung up. I am reporting the call. I know it is a scam.
