Type of a scam Tax Collection
I have recently received two calls; one from the supposedly IRS and today from the U.S. Treasury office.
IRS said I am being sued. I knew this was a scam and hung up. The Treasury office, I couldn’t understand.
The woman had such a heavy accent I couldn’t understand everything she was saying. I am not sure what they were after other than she said it was urgent and perhaps I wanted my lawyer to contact her at 646-349-8517.
I did not respond however.
