Type of a scam Fake Check/Money Order
I applied for a job I found on Indeed for an online service manager. It all sounded legitimate and good at first, until I learned I would need to use my bank account to complete "tasks" for them. Claimed if you "do not complete the tasks you’ll be taken to court". Their "tasks" include you accepting a money order, cashing out the maximum amount you can from a teller, and then depositing it into a bitcoin atm of their choice. They absolutely will not do it themselves, they insist it HAS to be done with your personal bank account.
When I expressed my concern they got a bit hostile and then told me to go away. I never completed the task nor was I going to. None of it felt right to me.
Seems very unprofessional to me.
