Well I am just plain stupid…1-11-18 I received a call from a Kate Olsen Ext. #1 who sounded very nice and went over several things regarding a qualification to receive a grant from a private source. I asked all the appropriate questions(apparently not enough) and being a nurse and taking care of others my entire life and a christian, I have always looked at the good in people. I had been praying a lot about my situation, being hit by 2 major Hurricanes in 2 yrs(Matthew, Irma) I thought this was God answering my prayers. After all, the name ‘Trinity’ how could I question it? I was asked how much money I needed..I didn’t want to be greedy as there were others hit just as hard so I did some quick arithmetic in my head and told her $65000( really needed about $98000). She left the conversation and came back with you have only been approved (Guarenteed) for $40000. She said there is a 7% charge for filing all of this and I would have to set up weekly interviews to go over the booklet I would receive in the mail. She did also say that the cost can be off set by the amount I would receive and said it would be $42750. So she then asked me about how I would pay this, I asked her why am I paying for a grant? She came back that this is a requirement as their services are not free and there is a ton of paperwork on their end and it goes on for months until I receive the check via certified mail. She sent over a form that looked legit filled out and my credit card was charged $2400. I told her how hard up I was and how this was coming at just the right time and she said she didn’t want to stress me out so I would get a break in the amount and only charged me the $2400. So then I began to get the weekly calls from a Amy Donivan at the same number ext #2, they were check in calls with a set time for 6wks. 3-13-18 I mailed the completed book back to the address they provided( Repeated it back to her twice). 6-3-18 I received the envelope I sent them with a RTS, not deliverable. Unable to forward. So I called Customer service 6-6-18 and just put in an inquiry as to my status and asked if they ever received my booklet. She said no at that time asked for the address to confirm I sent it to the right place and the PO Box was off. So I then confessed I had received it back as undeliveralble. 6-8-18 I Called back and left message no answer. 6-9-18 I resent booklet to the new address. I attempted to call on 6-30-18 , 7-1-18, 7-3-18. I just get a ring tone no answer then it goes to "Your call cannot be completed as dialed, check the number and dial again". I actually searched the Meza chamber of commerce for info on this company and there is no record of this business. So my advise is "To look a gift horse in the mouth."
