Type of a scam Debt Collections

I was called by a private number, which I did not answer. There was a voicemail left by a lady named "Lexie" who said I had a case with their law firm. She did not say what law firm at that time. I googled the number and it showed as a scam. I ignored the message and about an hour later my father called saying the same lady called him to find me.

I called the number, (877)255-5231, and was asked my case number. I was directed to a man who said his name was John Chambers, he also stated they were in Temecula, CA. He knew my social security number and said that he was collecting on an HSBC account that was closed in 2009. I told him he needed to speak to my bankruptcy attorney from 2008, with whom he knew the name of, as that account was part of that bankruptcy. He also had my bankruptcy paperwork supposedly and said he would send my information up higher up the chain and get everything dismissed.

They are trying to get victims to pay old debts, which in my case have been settled, by using scare tactics. By searching the internet I found the website below, but can find no information on this company or this attorny in BBB. They do represent themselves as ScamPulse.com accredited, which you can see in the link below to file a complaint.
