Type of a scam Fake Invoice/Supplier Bill
My car was towed from a business lot AFTER hours. When I called a man replied “meet me at the auto store on MLK with $110.00 cash to get your car. When I arrived he was not identified by name/logo, uniform, etc. he also did not ask for proof of ownership of the car. I was not given a receipt and I’m sure he pocketed the cash for illegal purposes. I’ve never been towed when they didn’t ask for drivers license and proof of car! And in a lot AFTER HOURS!
