I was on the website at Artpark for tickets to see Steven Tyler. It stated that tickets were 17 dollars each and asked how many tickets I wanted so I typed in two the service fee was 6 dollars each ticket so I proceeded to do so it then asked for your information which I put in. I noticed it said pdf download so I went in to edit it as I always get will call. there was none so I figured what the heck I will just print them as I have in the past. As I scrolled down I hit the I accept and kept scrolling just under the submit button I saw that it said my card will be charged 99.50 so I hit the back button to back out and it took my money anyway and they will not refund me as they state they are only a call center and have no way to refund. But they will issue a refund if the show is cancelled. How does that work? They are a scam company. The girl on the phone told me there was on one over her and that the company is based from Chicago I asked for address she says there is none. hmmmm.

I googled the Amway center and I was directed to the Tickets-center.com . I Thought it was the Amway Center website. I was purchasing four tickets and the price that appered to be $105.00 each, thus, the total price should be $420.00. Instead, after I put all my information in the system and hit the purchase button, I received an email telling me that they had received my order and the total was $703.50 . So, they charge me $145.00 each ticket ($580.00) plus $116.00(service charge), plus $7.50(electronic download fee). They hid the service charge and the total amount, and they change the price of the tickets. They didn’t show me the subtotal amount for the tickets until the sale was finalized, and by that point it would not let me cancel, I spent 3 hours on the phone trying to reach them, with no success, because the answering machine didn’t let me talk to anyone.I then tried going on their live chat and they told me that they have no return policy and the alternative for me is to try to sell the tickets at the resale website.

This was a dishonest and scam ordering procedure.

On 12/8/16 I purchased 6 tickets to a festival from Tickets-Center.com. The site was listed first in a Google search for tickets to the festival. After purchasing the tickets, I found out they were scalpers, and discovered I had paid 3 times what the real tickets cost on the official festival site, plus an added service fee of $210.00! I went back to the site and it clearly reads at the top, "Money Back Guarantee" and the statement of tickets being non-refundable is not visible.

I immediately called the 800# to Tickets-Center.com and spoke with the manager, asking/demanding a refund. I was told the tickets are non-refundable and that this was stated on the site in "fine print." The manager said they could not help me, but offered to refund $200, which I declined as being very unfair. When I asked why the tickets were so expensive, they said I was purchasing "second party" tickets, and although I disputed this with them, they would not help me. The advertising is deceptive!

I then called my credit card company (within the hour after transaction) and the charge is now under dispute to hopefully reverse the charges. I will be surprised to get backing from the card company, and am afraid the site is going to keep ripping people off. It is engineered to rip you off but they have it covered legally. Very tricky.

Tickets-Center .com takes over the website of a business for an event to increase ticket prices that are paid to them. They overtake the actual event site as an imposter to have the consumer purchase from them. They increase the price by 200% and charge a $25 service fee. When you receive your tickets, you see the original price that they should sale for, but Tickets-Center overtakes the sale and places their price on it which is increased 200%. They will not refund you and treat you as if you knew about their scandalous practices before purchase. I say they are a scam to prey upon consumers rather than to get a life, be a hard working citizen they choose to leach off of others to profit only themselves. LOSERS and FRAUD ARTISTS!!!!
