Type of a scam Debt Collections
Told me that some years ago I took out cash advance loan for $200.00 after all fees the total was $400.00. They said I had an account JP Chase Morgan. JP Chase turned it over to a company called VIN, LLC. They were suppose to contact me about payment of the $400.00. Neither place has contacted me about the bill. VIN company has turned it over to The Processing Firm. I have never had a cash advance loan. Company said they have proof. Spoke with 3 individuals from the Legal Processing Firm, last of whom I spoke with was a Mary Johnson who said I could settle out of court for $200.00. If not settle today they are going to turn legal papers over to Pickens County for $1,400 for legal fees. They had my social security number and birthday, which I did not give them. Received several voice mail saying that I have something on back order, which I have not ordered anything.
