James Hanna contacted SafePlace, a non-profit organization, claiming to be the brother of one of our donors and requesting a tax letter for a donation made by that donor. James asked for the letter to be mailed to him as he was his sister is sick and he is helping prepare her taxes.
We contacted the donor directly to inquire and she said she doesn’t have a brother or family member named James.
