Type of a scam Government Grant
In messenger the scammer took over my friends account and impersonated her, trying to get me to be interested in applying for a “grant“ for free money. I thought I was talking with my friend. When I texted the number they gave me more information even asking the next day why I had not applied for the grant. The poor language used made me question if it was my friend or not. In addition the way I was continued to be bothered about not having applied made me leery.
the same thing happened to me. msgs from old fb friends, contact agent james donald. he wanted to give me $100,000 but i would have to pay $800 in raxes up front.
dont do it. they are def scammers. want $800 up front for taxes. plus agent’s fb profile was pic of putin. plus i taught this guy who contacted me. the wrting was horrible and i know he is not some semi literate bumpkin.. don’t give them anything!
