Type of a scam Employment
In a local neighborhood mom’s group, someone posted, posing as a neighbor, a job opportunity to work from home. I asked her about it and she referred me to the email contact listed above. The person who responded through the email contact had me download Google Hangouts to hold an interview. I answered a few questions and she told me I got the job! She wouldn’t answer questions about the job or pay, but kept asking me questions about who I bank with, and if I have credit card debt. Once she told me I got the job, then there were a lot of questions about my credit card debt. She told me the company will pay down my credit card debt, all they need is my log in information to access the credit account. I did not give my information, but have continued to ask questions that she is unable to answer about the job, the salary, the taxes, etc.
