I contacted a person through their Facebook page "Teacup yorkie puppies for sale" on 10/16/19 & purchased a pup on 10/18/19 for $500 & since I lived over 5hrs away she told me she could ship the pup for $120 additional & after she received payment from zelle she would give me shipping instructions, the email I was to zelle money to was [email protected] & the name was Normel Lawson. I never received shipping details & requested my money back through zelle & she blocked me. This scammer needs prosecuted.

i was looking in to buying a teacup yorkie puppie and this web was there i saw they sold those dog there they d not have a price so i contated them to see, they did not give inf until you were ready to buy. they did told me that they were 450.00 wish i thought it was a good price, i told them i was ready to buy they said send a money order by western union and i did that but the next day the "airplane call me saying they need 680.00 for insurence but it was going to be refunded ones it was ship to me, and i paid they ask i send it by walmart nd i did then they call saying that the dog need a special craet nd it was 580.00 that they could not trable with out it. so i told them i was not going to send anymore money, that i want to cancle it and wanted my money back. i keeped at it nd then i call the police i ask for my money and then they block me so i have no dog and no money.

is advertising that they are selling teacup yorkie puppies. Over the past 4-5 months we have had 15+ people drive many hours to get to our business with the belief that we are selling puppies. We are located at 400 Granby street in downtown Norfolk, VA. The scammers are telling people that they will meet them at our location and then never show up. A few people have paid $250 in advance to the scammers. In the past month the number of people coming in looking for puppies has escalated. Once the victims arrive at muddy paws and try to contact the seller, they block their number. The phone number they are using is a google voice account I believe. I have attached a Facebook message one person sent me.
