Type of a scam Home Improvement

The owner of this company Thomas (Tyler) Hall gives you a price to build a product made from metal for your home. He first gives you a price and then he increases the price substantially. His website says he accepts credit card but refuses to take payment with a credit card and insists on cash or check. He then cashes the check on the same day as issued. He wants half the total amount up-front. He then never produces the product and never keeps any appointments made. Eventually he sends you, via email and text, crude and vulgar messages. His Corporate Commission LLC address is out of date and the owner of the property address, on his LLC, has never heard of Thomas (Tyler) Hall. He fools you into saying that he will be returning your deposit but never does. He uses health issues to say that he cannot produce the product and delays, delays and delays and eventually never produces anything. There are other complaints on the internet of him doing the same to other customers. He says he does not need a Contractors license although the Registrar of Contractors say that he does as his prices are over $1000 for certain items he produces. He has an F rating with the BBB. Be aware of this character as he may sound pleasant (especially if you listen to his voicemail) but can be the complete opposite once he has your money.
