Type of a scam Debt Collections
I keep getting these voicemails on my cell phone and on my work phone. I have turned in one already same type different message.
This one said:
"Hi this is Sydney Cooper and I am trying to reach (computer generated voice says my name and a reference number SJ1074849) Your bank draft arrangements for dismissal has been breached. Our records indicate no attempt from your part to proceed has occurred. As of this date and in accordance with the terms mutually expressed. If you intend to keep your binding agreement press 1 now to speak with an associate. To return this call please contact the office within 24 hours at 866-674-0525 regarding this matter.
This is a major issue, I don’t answer them on my cell phone, but they have also called my work phone at least 6 times that I am aware of. They also called my grown daughter’s phone in another state and left a message for me there. This would indicate that they are accessing some kind of background that would show relatives. As I indicated before I live in Arkansas, work in Missouri and have a phone number with an Oklahoma area code. My daughter lives in Oklahoma.
