Type of a scam Employment
Received an email to be a Secret Shopper at Kroger. I am newly retired so I thought ok. I clicked on it and filled out the info. I received a letter from a Mike Lawson telling me
to purchase 3 Google Play cards in the amount of $500 each from Kroger, Walgreens and Target using the “enclosed check for $1930.” I was to deduct $300 and keep it for my “commission”. I was to purchase $100 of groceries w/ one card at Kroger. After “observing the store clerk” I was to fill out a questionnaire and email it back. I was to receive the “address to send the cards to” after I was done.
