Hey so I have been receiving multiple calls from a variety of toll free numbers I answered the phone call, and the representative stated " BC recovery how may I direct your call" They stated, that I had a debt with an old credit account, that I didn’t pay off at the time but effect Nov 2017 the card has been paid and removed from my credit card. I told the representative to give me a call tomorrow, because it did not make sense to me. I google the 1-803-396-1438 and Sunset Solutions appeared, when I called the line back the representative answered the phone "Legal Claims how may I help you"
I’m not understanding how this business has multiple names I know bill collectors follow a script my debt is cleared since 2019. I just want to prevent someone whose actually making payment not get into a fraud situation because I have been there before. Thank you for ScamPulse.com because i really felt like i was about to be scammed out of my little bit of money I have, because of a debt that I already paid off.
They made me think they were representing my current card co. Capital One. They even had my address, soc. Told me I had a card I never paid on. From 2015.
That I was going to need a lawyer. Because they we’re going to garnish wages. Plus A court date was being requested to my county. they just knew too much personal information. Plus they put me on hold a bunch of times with music and also sent me an email they wanted me to sign. Made me feel like it was all legit. But at the end with they said Citibank I said is capital one owned by Citibank. They said yes. That’s when I knew it was fraud. By then it was already to late. I called both Citi Bank and Capital one. This card never existed. Now my bank is trying to help. I paid 512.00 thinking I was paying a percentage to have the debt forgiven. I may never see that money again.

claims i have a online loan from 2013, they contacted my brother not me, claims they couldn’t find me but could find him which was a red flag then claimed they put lien on my bank! i called bank said no they didn’t, pulled all 3 credit report no report of this loan, then when i talked to someone about a payment arrangement they wouldn’t take what i said i would pay instead wanted $100 today and $168 every 2 weeks or they wasn’t going to help me place is a scam waiting to see if they send paper work 7 years later

This company call me and stated i owed 545 and if i dont pay it they will filed fraudrentlent against me i was so afraid i paid half of the payment and then i did research and come to find out they are scammers they call and threaten you and state they will take you to court and garnish your check they also stated i will send me an email confirmation for me to sign come to find out they never did because they fraudulent sign it as if i sign you be careful with this place they are a scam they threaten you to scare you

I received a phone call from Sunset Solutions regarding medical bill. I was told I needed to pay them as soon as possible if not legal actions were to happen and I was going to get arrested. I found it funny they never used my real name, whoever it was they were using my nickname. So, I know this was a Scam. I told them I have an attorney and they said for me to pay it was going to be cheaper for me to pay and not the attorney. I work in Health care so I told them a lot of HIPPA laws they were breaking and they hung up and called me back. The person who called me back was different and wanted the money. I hung up and called the local hospital if I had a bill and they said no.
