Called me to sell me a vacation package. Told me that I could get a discounted package price of $298. I told them that I couldn’t spend that type of money until I talked to my husband. Michael Coleman (cooperate #2365) and Alex Smith told me that I would have 30 days from 4/21/17 to cancel my package and receive a full refund so that there was a safety net. I called on 4/24 to cancel because my husband said we didn’t need it and they "denied my request to cancel because I had purchased a discount package". I told the man that the discount package is the only one that I was offered, so why would I also be offered a 30 day cancellation if that didn’t apply to the package I purchased. He was very rude and repeated exactly what he’d already stated. I told him that Michael had told me that he would definitely include in the "recorded verification" that I had a 30 day cancellation term and he didn’t. So, before I had purchased I made sure to ask the lady about the 30 day cancellation period and she, again, assured me that it was true on tape. When I asked the man today about the tape, when I tried to cancel, he said it didn’t exist. I told him that a lawyer could subpoena it and He said that they only recorded for training purposes, not to ensure buyers get what they are promised. So, I’m out the money because you can’t reach anyone to book a vacation…..SCAM
