Put in Direct Loan payback on Google and a site came up called Student Loan Relief Debt, went into it, I was asked to call 310-432-1075 to complete consolidating or dismissing my Direct student Loan. Mike West then proposed my loan was paid for $0.00 of an amount of 4, 752 now and the balance of my loan following (no date or information) on the balance of 12,291 that is owed. He said charges were $495 and could be paid at $165 for 3 months with a maintenance fee of 39.00 (I have paid them $165 pending at the bank I use for further investigation, I think, they did some investigating but could not come up with a conclusive end, will not claim it as negligent until later). Upon seeing a scam alert on my email when they wanted me to pull up an email to close the transaction, which had to be pulled from my span file not email, I asked if this was a scam and Steve said no that this happens when pulling from the spam file. I have been trying to investigate this with the education government site for dispersing loans, etc. All I get is that I should have never had to pay to get my loan consolidated or managed. This has been my only clue that this might be a scam but I have a feeling I as scammed although they were explicit and from the study I did the night before engaging with them sounded authenic. Can you help?
