I received my first call from this number around the beginning of Febuary (I believe), it’s been awhile. It’s always the same guy giving me a different name (I’ve learned to identify his Indian accent). And it’s always the same phone number (311)971-1854. They always ask me if I am (my name). When I say "This is" he proceeds to tell me he is from the Student Loan Forgiveness Department. I’ve already consolidated my loans through the US-DoE so there is no reason they’d be calling…they’d just send me a letter. I’ve never made it past giving them my name and birth date. The first time they called was shortly after I filled my taxes so I was naturally skeptical of every call from a number I didn’t know. I’ve asked them multiple times to stop, yet I still receive phone calls 1, 2 sometimes 3 times a day. They never leave voicemails. Ever. I actually have their number saved in my contacts as Liars-Student Loans. DO NOT ANSWER THEIR CALLS!!!
