Type of a scam Advance Fee Loan
I called the number I found for students to call for loan forgiveness after Argosy University abruptly shut down. I was a student attending Argosy 8 classes away from graduating. I reached out to them because they advertised they could guarantee loan forgiveness, I called they said I qualified for the program and that my entire debt would be forgiven, they asked for $1,000 payment fee that they said I would get back. They sent me an electronic contract that I completed and paid my fee and sent back, I am no longer able to access the application online and when I emailed Brian it bounced back so I called the number above and spoke with Karen who transferred me to Debbie in processing last Thursday 12/12/19 who assured me they were working on my account and would get back to me. No one ever did and when I called the number on Friday I was told my call could not be completed. Now I have no way to contact them except to find out where the payment went through my credit card? Please help.
