Type of a scam Online Purchase
I was attempting to make a purchase of a Firearm on Stribogmodels.com on June 25, 2020 . The site seemed legit as there was no immediate red flags that made me believe it was a scam . I selected the item I was trying to purchase . As I was confirmed the purchase I was sent a email stating that i can make the purchase by contacting there sales representative through "Livechat" on there website. The representative "Raymond Kempta" stated that I can send payment through Zelle . I sent my payment of $789 ( $759.00 Plus $30.00 shipping) . They sent me a email "[email protected]" to send payment to . After I sent the payment I asked the representative where did I need to send my FFL information , and they said to contact back Monday June 29, 2020 to send that information as the purchase was still "processing" . I contacted them Monday and they told me to contact them Tuesday as it was " still processing . I contacted them Tuesday as i was frustrated with the situation and They still were saying it was processing . I asked for a refund of my money , and never received a response . I contacted them yesterday (Wednesday) and again no response . I have since filed a claim on my bank account , as I believe this to be a scam.
