Type of a scam Fake Check/Money Order
I created an account on care.com to try to get pet-sitting or dog-sitting jobs. I got many responses from a man who used many different names, including Stephen, Thompson, and Dave. I reached out to two of the aliases before I realized they were all connected. They emailed me wanting my address and other personal information. I never contacted them or responded back, so I cannot say if they intended to do more harm. But they mention they want you on payroll with them, which would require an account and routing number. This is a scam and care.com has not proven to me to be a safe place to put personal information. ScamPulse.com only lets me attach one photo but I have more detail of the emails in the other photo where they discuss the amount they want to pay you and something about a sales representative and check, and putting you on payroll.
