Type of a scam Employment

A 22 year Army Veteran with TBI and PTSD, 100% disabled through the VA was a target of employment scam resulting in bank fraud and leaving this innocent Veteran with $9000 to pay back. A recruiter from careerbuilder.com contacted the Veteran regarding a work from home job and put him in contact with a recruiter from Statewide Recovery Services. He was given an interview and hired as a manager to assist in expanding the company. He was sent a series of checks to purchase needed equipment for work from home and to send to the person responsible for securing the physical property and building for the business. He was told by the bank the first two checks cleared and the money was available prior to sending any money out. When the equipment did not arrive and the Veteran became suspicious he called the bank and they put a hold on the third check. Eventually, the bank declared the three checks as fraudulant, they "returned" the checks and the Veteran is now left to pay the money sent out to individuals to purchase equipment and physical property.
