Type of a scam Identity Theft
Honestly, I am hoping this wasn’t a scam but I am stressing out badly. I had a lady contact me via text message telling me she is a Marketing Manager for Star Furniture offering me a position as a personal assistant for her. I would take documents she emailed me, print them out and then take them to her clients in my area. She provided her ID picture and a couple other pictures of herself. Then asked for my ID picture. I sent her my ID. Not thinking, I forgot to cover my address up and anything else personal. All i am worried about is if this was a scam. She didn’t ask for anything else but told me there would be a phone interview tomorrow sometime. Weekly pay would be $600. I just don’t want my identity stolen. How can I be sure this isn’t a scam? Her name is Cristin Botello. I just want to make sure I am not being scammed & if i am being scammed i want everyone to know!
