We found the perfect puppy breeder online and contacted them by email. They informed us she was ready to go. We had to pay by either of 2 apps (Cashapp or Zelle). Didn’t have either installed on my phone. Tried to pay with credit card but they refused. So we downloaded the app (Cashapp) and paid $700. for the puppy and $150. for shipping as we live on opposite coasts. They confirmed the payment to them and said we would here from the shipper next day. We did with a message that we had to buy insurance for the dog who they estimated was worth $2950. It would cost us $1450. for the insurance. We contacted the Standard Bassethound and were told they had no idea of this situation and went so far as to say the shipper w[censored]ding their puppy and didn’t know if they could get her back. We have tried numerous texts and phone calls between the seller and the shipper to no avail. We lost our money. I have printed out all of the emails from both businesses. Our texts are still intact.
