The organization I work for was notified that it had received a "Best of St. Paul Award." We were notified by another organization which had received our notification by mistake. Online research uncovered very recent reports of a similar scheme under "Boise Business Awards" and "Syracuse Business Awards." The sender wants you to "confirm receipt of the award" by sending them $149.99. Clearly its a fake award from a fake organization as none of the "names" listed (there are three or four different ones) checks out in Google, BBB, FTC or D&B listings even though D&B is listed as one to which this group supposedly belongs.
