Type of a scam Employment
I applied for the position from the job posting of Administrative Assistant with Sorrells Residential Framing through Indeed.com. I was almost immediately contacted with the follow email which is most certainly a scam.:
"Dear Applicant,
This is Ms Hillary Washington from The firm (Coloplast Medical ). Your resume was reviewed on indeed for Administrative Assistant, The pay-rate is $24.7 per hour, This is strictly an online work from home job, will you have any issue working from home
The interview will be conducted online via Google Hangout, If you have a gmail account you can use it as your login details for the Google Hangouts App If not You can also have a Gmail account setup via this pngage ( mail.google.com ) after that, you are to have a Google Hangouts app installed via this pngage to your phone or laptop ( hangouts.google.com ) .
After this process is done, you are to invite the CHRO up on her Google Hangout app at ( [email protected] ) After doing that you are to message her with your verification code to proceed further more with the interview,
She will be online waiting to proceed with you. Thank you.

I did not proceed any further with the interview process but did research the company listed as the employer. It returned multiple hits for scams and the phone number associated with the business rings to a person that claims they are not associated with the business even though their voicemail states they are the owner of the company. I have read where others that were asked to go into the google hangouts for an interview were then asked to deposit checks or withdraw money in order to proceed with the application and blocked once they asked for more details about the position.
