Type of a scam Home Improvement
He posted an ad on a local buy and sell Facebook site I had been a part of for discounted duct cleaning services. I had private messaged him asking Company he worked for he gave me the solo home services website. We talked a bit on private message he then said he needed my address and phone number to book, I then gave him that information.. we had a date set for cleaning services and I messaged him day before to get a time. He just said “we’re not coming” then that was the end of contact. The following day I called the numbers on the website he gave and one goes straight to voicemail and the other is a text only line. I went back and looked and his social media ads he posted were gone and I then see he himself “George Alex” had been reported by someone on Facebook and all his messages to me via private messenger were gone! I have been looking on some buy and sell pages and have seen people with different names using his same ad and tactics and when I click on their profiles they don’t have any “friends” just “followers” so I am pretty sure this is all a scam! But the website does say they are a part of the ScamPulse.com so I wanted to let you guys know about this scam!
