Type of a scam Fake Check/Money Order
My daughter Received a check fedex ed overnight to my name and address. Routing number had only 6 numbers instead of 9. Check said "private bank and trust company" which using the numbers on the check seemed to come from a trust bank in Boston. Called them they couldn’t figure out who might have sent it. Fedex tracking number originated in Texas. went through several states before being over nighted to my address.There was no letter with the check stating what it was for.
