I got this call on my cell phone at 7:26 am this morning which sounded like a recording saying,this is the Social Security Office and we`ve put a block on your Social Security number because of iilegal activity`s, if you want to know more press 1. So I press 1 it rings a person answer say Hello, i say I just got a recording message from you. He ask me for my name? I ask him who he was? He told me to **** *** and hung up on me.

Automated voicemail from the social security office claiming they were filing a lawsuit against me, and were calling me to discuss my case. I hung up before the call ended, and immediately called the number back to ask to be removed from their calling list. A lady with a foreign accent picked up the phone claiming she was with social security abminstration. When I asked her to remove me from her calling list, she hung up on me. I then blocked her number.(1 800 730 5310)

Received call from above phone number. I didn’t answer, but thereby did leave voicemail, “Jusst to inform you that there is a vehicle enforcement action filed on your social security number for criminal activities so when you get this message kindly call (phone number listed above). Call before we begin legal proceedings.” I called the number back from my work phone. Call was answered by foreign accented person that was not easily understood. When I asked how I would know this was the social security office, they hung up on me.

Received a call from a number. I don’t recognize: I listened to the voicemail and was told that this is Officer Malisa Brown calling you from the headquarters of the social security administration. I marked no to question that asks if this was an attempt to take money because I did not speak to anyone. I did attempt to call the number out of curiosity as to what they would ask me. I was told to leave a message because the google subscriber could not answer the phone.

I received 2 phone calls from same number. Man said he was from social security office and asked me to smell my name then asked for last 4 digits of my social security number. When I questioned him and asked why, he threatened to send a police office to my address to arrest me. And he had my address. Then I asked to speak to a manager and he asked what I was scared of. He kept saying he was going to have me arrested. He was pronouncing my name wrong. He had a foreign accent. After I said that he would have my last 4 digits if he was truly from social security office, he hung up.

Caller says I am contacting you regarding your social security inquiry. I say I have not asked for that, what are you talking about, they will repeat it and then you ask them who they really are and they hang up. I get at least 1 call per day, if I decide to answer it, I tell them to take me off the calling list. I think they were after my social security number, which there is no way I would give that over the phone anyways.
