I was from a local # with the same pre-fix as my #. My husband, daughter and myself received the same call.
it was a recorded automated male voice.

The recording said they would have to suspend our social security due to suspicious and fraudulent (they mis pronounced) activity. They did not use our names. We were just told to call the above phone number.

Name Julie Wilson, Bryan Hawkins, third person. ? On name. Said they were with SSA and on a previously planned owned car, supposedly still in my name, was found with blood and drugs in it. They said there was a warrant for my arrest, that I would go to prison for 8 or 9 years and owe $89,000
They had a case # 547604

Didn’t give them any info, told them to contact my friend who is with police dept. They hung up.

A person named James Oliver ID # FL7010DC and #537542 called said he was from the Social Security Admin. and my Social Security number had shown up on a rental car found in TX. and that they found I was into drug trafficking and money laundering. He gave me transferred me to DEA Department. He disconnected the call because he said I was to upset to talk to.

Woman called. Identified herself as Debbie Hernandez from Social Security Administration. she indicated that my SS# had been used in some illegal activities. She suggested suspending my number. She said to call 240-801-3514. She indicated that if I did not call she could just "wish me luck in dealing with the consequences".
