Received an email from Monica Sanders at Smocani Ventures Limited encouraging me to apply for an at home customer service position. There is no way to contact the organization other than email to Monica. The email had an attachment that described the work, salary, and benefits. There is some mention of withdrawing funds from one bank account and moving funds to other accounts. Document is poorly written. No phone number or company address, only mentions that the US offices are located in Columbus, OH.

Smocani Ventures Limited, Scammer, [email protected], said she found my resume posted on Career Builder and, after review, I was chosen for part-time employment in customer service for the company. It stated this was home-based work, $18/hr beginning rate.

I received the following email:
We have studied your CV on CareerBuilder and, after thorough consideration, we invite you to become a candidate for employment with the company.
Please fill out an application for the Customer Service position. This is a home-based position that provides on-going administrative assistance to our loyal customers, copying with their questions. It also includes operational supervising.
The position is offered in both part-time and full-time schedules (from 20 to 30 hours per week and up to 40, respectively). The schedule is rather flexible; however, you would be required to work between 9 a.m. and 4:30 p.m., Monday through Friday, based on your local time. The minimum pay rate is 18/hour.
This position also requires you to maintain a home office sufficiently equipped to perform your duties. You must have a computer or a notebook and a quiet place to work without distraction. A stable Internet and phone connection are also a must. The preparation for the position is held over the Internet. Administrative skills are considered a plus; however, other previous work experience will be taken into consideration as well. We are looking for team members with good basic talents to provide them with room for growth and development within the company.

I received an email this moring for a Work From Home offer. In my research I found that this may be a scam. I have not and will not go any futher.
