I my self did the same thing. I emailed them interested in Sophia. They emailed me right away same as the previous person. Sent me contact told me she would be shipped for free because of the voucher they had. Told me to send contract signed and send money true Zelle $999. Did everything as soon as they received money they went gost mode! I didn’t hear from them till the second day at 5pm just like the previous time. I called no answer just the answering machine. By then they said she would be shipped by Wednesday. No more emails or calls. I did the same thing I had my sister email them asking for Sophia and of course SHE WAS AVAILABLE STILL! Supposably I had already purchased her so how can she still be available. By then I realized I had been scamed. These people need to stop. I have contacted my bank and they trying to figure it out. Most likely I won’t get my money back. I did email smiling bulldogs telling them I was aware of the scam and to please return my money if not I would start taking some legal action.

I searched on Google because I was looking for places that sold Bulldog puppies and came across smilingbulldogs.org. I went on their website and and saw pictures of varies puppies and saw two that I was interested in. There was a contact page where I was asked to put name, email, phone #, and message where I put what puppies (Ryan, and Natasha) I was interested in and if I could have more pictures. They emailed me later that night that Ryan was reserved (which wasn’t specified on the website however, another puppy, Fifi, was reserved) but Natasha was available and they would send pictures in the morning.

The next day I received two more pictures and two videos of Natasha. So I was very interested in moving forward and asked what were the next steps. The website stated her price at $1,500 and that they had two vouchers to be able to send the pups for free if you were not local via United Airlines Pet Safe program. I got an email from Malcom Thierry Dosso stating that I would need to sign a contract that stated the terms, and transfer $1500 via Zelle app even sending a link to down load the app.

Once the contract was signed and sent back, I transferred the money on the Zelle app to:

Once I transferred money they asked to get a screen shot of confirmation of transfer so that they could start the process to ship her out. The website states they ship Monday, Wednesday, Friday. It was Wednesday, May 20th, 2020 in the late afternoon so I was expecting to have her by Friday as I informed them that I would be available to receive her immediately. I went to the pet shop to get some starter supplies to receive her at my local airport.

On Thursday I emailed them and asked what time would I be receiving her so that I can make the appropriate arrangements. I did not hear from them for a couple of hours so I called the number listed and got this automated voice message that said “Hello, I guess you are calling in regards to our puppies, we are unavailable now. We will get back to you shortly.” A few minutes later I received two text:

Thanks for your interest in our puppies. Kindly text us the name of the particular puppy you want as well as your email address and we’ll send you all relevant details shortly.

Due to the Covid situation, we are having an unforeseen delay with shipping. Please permit us to ship on Monday so you receive by 4 pm.

That’s when I started to get a suspicious. I asked my sister to email them asking about their puppies particularly Natasha. They sent her this email:

Thanks for your interest in our puppies.

Please take out 2 minutes to go through this email and reply.

Fortunately for you Natasha is still available. Her best friend Anna was

and shipped to Florida 2 days ago while Fifi has been reserved by someone

who’ll be coming to pick up from our home this Sunday. The rest are still

available.

Natasha is 10 weeks and 2 days old, purebred, healthy, docile, have strong

bones and are very well socialized. She easily interacts with our kids and

other pets including cats and bigger dogs. She is undergoing potty training

and the outcome has been so impressive and all you have to do is to walk

her out at least twice daily. Our breeding stock has been tested for and

declared free of cancer and all relevant Orthopedic, cardiovascular, skin

and eye problems.

Monday came and I reached out again to confirm time and information and they sent me this:

It’s with regret that we inform you of the unforeseen delay that we are facing due to the COVID19 pandemic. Please permit us to ship on Wednesday.

This was the last I heard from them. I’ve emailed repeatedly asking for a refund as stated on the website and no response.
