Type of a scam Employment
I was emailed about a job that said it paid $20/hr so I was interested. I replied to the email with my info & was contacted via text. They asked when I could start & were determined to get me on board. Some red flags I got were they said they keep beer in the fridge for employees & even worse they told me they send a check for my supplies I would need. The supplies were an iPhone 11 Pro & a 2019 Mac book with a touch bar. I know these items are expensive so I googled "job offers check for supplies" & a lot of scam articles came up. They also would not give me an address & told me it was being built so they couldnt give it to me & that is close to where I live & I live in the south in the country no one is building an IT company close to me.
