Type of a scam Online Purchase
My wife received this e-mail this morning from a "company" that we have no knowledge of or ordered from. It was a "receipt" for something not ordered, to be sent on-line and payment options were noted. It gave a phone number to "cancel" the order or get a refund – which I did not call as I expected them to want information they did not have. The note was signed (did not get included on the scan) by an "Eric Wilson" as manager. The price for the Microsoft Windows Defender was $499.99. Must be a "wonderful bargain". I hope others did not fall for such an obvious scam. In the place below, my wife is not a veteran, but I am US Army retired.
