Type of a scam Online Purchase
This woman posted an ad on Facebook for a makeup palette she was selling- just so happened to be two which was exactly what I was needed for a Christmas gift. I messaged asked her if she still has the product and she said yes I do. I proceeded to tell her I want them and paid her for them under the impression she would send them to me. A week later I asked her if they had been shipped yet seeing as though I never received a shipping conformation or tracking number. She assured me that they would be to me before Christmas and not to worry. Less than two weeks before Christmas I asked her again where the product was since it had been almost three weeks and I had still not heard anything. This is when she informs me that she ordered it from a third party overseas and here was an issue with the shipping. I told her I would like a refund for my products since she can not verify anything was purchases to begin with. Asked multiple times for a refund along with a tracking number and she still cannot give me either claiming it is against her “policy.” Now I am blocked on Facebook and she has removed the ad so I can no longer find it.
