I placed an order over a month ago on this site, they were advertising face masks and with Covid I wanted to get my fiance a cool mask to wear to work. They took payment and never sent the product, they have no phone # to reach them and never reply to the email you send them. After this happened I looked up reviews and saw that many people said the same thing.

They advertised for face mask for riding while cycling and other outdoor activities also trying to tie their product to covid 19. It was on weather.com so I believed it was reputable. Out nearly $80 bucks trying to surprise my wife with a new “buff” like product. Don’t get duped like I did.

Due to COVID-19, where I’m located, all masks are sold out and in NJ, we are required to wear a face cover whenever we enter any type of business establishment. I searched online for face masks and found Shield Stars on Facebook. They don’t sell face masks, but instead sell graphic face coverings. After browsing, I placed an order on one and paid $22 with Paypal on April 18. Their website advertises several things. The first being that they have all inventory currently in stock. They also advertise that orders are shipped within 2-3 business days and that they are located in the US. After waiting over a week with no updates, I decided to contact them. That’s where things get sketchy. On Paypal, it shows they have a domain email of @163.com. When I email that email, the only response I got was from my server saying that it was an invalid email. That’s when I went on their website and emailed them at [email protected] I got a reply back from Jacqueline, saying that my order has shipped and was provided a tracking number. However, when you use the tracking number through USPS, it says that it is awaiting the item. When confronted with that information, I get replies saying that they cannot and will not do anything to help and that I should just be patient and wait.
