Said he was from the Microsoft Fraud Division and could help me get back money I had paid to fix my computer. I did get 2 checks from this guy recovering $2000.00 and then $6000.00.We talked back and forth like friends. At that time I did not suspect any wrongdoing. He led me to believe that I could invest in his company at a 7% return Then he pushed investment in scammers company with purchases made with credit cards Then purchase of gift cards to use instead of credit cards. When I called him on closing my account because we had a lot of credit card debt, he obliged by telling me he would submit the paperwork. He kept telling me I should give him more money to build the pot, I followed the direction against better judgment, and he then planned to bring my check himself. I then did not receive another call from him and became very upset. I lost all of our savings and put us turning to a debt relief program.
