The person posed to be a attorney going over a old case file from 2008 saying that i owed $1,700.00 for a credit card account called First Bank in which the guy ( calls himself Mr. Myers) says that this will go to court for litigation and a judgment placed if the amount is not paid in full by today. I called a consumer protection attorney at the *** law firm and they said that this was a scam because the people would’nt give a name to their agency or business when the *** firm tried to contact them. This scam needs to be stopped because how did they get my personal information anyways and why did they start calling me, threatening to sue me and garnish my wages?
