Type of a scam Fake Check/Money Order
I applied for this on a legitimate job ad on Indeed. I thought that it was ok. They sent me 2 different envelopes in the mail one was with a check that looks real. So I called bank to see if it’s real they said no it’s fake. I always check. The other one is money order I’m taking it to post office for them to file charges against them.

Got a text that I would be receiving my assignment and a cashier’s check to be deposited into my account. The check is fake . It has no address or phone number for the bank. I am still receiving messages about completing the assignment ( secret shopper). Please stop these people as Soon as possible.
