My teenagers were excited about an opportunity about selling on Amazon- a trusted source-

They learned of the opportunity through Facebook advertising and went to a presentation and were excited when they were told they could make thousands selling on Amazon- the "supposed" Dell Computer VP -turned Sellers Playbook expert and Amazon seller won them over.

The fact he could make more money doing this program than he did at Dell ( the are tech nerds) got their attention.

The sales tactics were very good and believable, but opportunities for training continued to drag out and not come to reality.

They spend $800 of their hard earned money to invest in an opportunity to help them pay for college, which turned out to be a scam.

Now, phone numbers and emails do not work.

How can I get the kids money back?? Please advise.

Sellers Playbook put on facebook to come to a meeting to learn how to sell on Amazon to have an Amazon store. I went and listened and then they said to learn moor to come to their seminar which was a 3 day seminar for $497.00. Their scam was to come there for the seminar for a "Sellers Playbook Learning Workshop" Went to the seminar and what they try to sell you more, is to join Sellers Playbook at many different amounts of levels which costs money. You have to put a $3,000 deposit. Then I had to get a loan to bring up my credit score by paying down 2 of my credit cards which I did. Once I did this, I was suppose to show this other loan company that would give me credit cards for $80,000 that I did pay down my credit cards. The $80,000 was to help me start buying products to put on Amazon. THEN they would take out the $3000 deposit money. Well they took out the $3000 out of my checking account immediately which I am disputing with my bank. I also am disputing with my credit card the $497 they initially charged me to go to this phony seminar. I talked with another guy that went to the seminar and they got $18,000 out of him. I also received a text from one of the trainers. His name is supposedly Chris Runnells. He text me August 3rd and said SP has been shutdown by the FTC. Claims are false, but none the less they have to shut down for investigation. I would advise calling your credit card company and reversing the charges. This was 5 days after the seminar. This I am assuming was sent to all of us that paid fees and had been cleared for them to get the $$. He also said they were all in shock & disbelief. Yea, right. I never thought of myself as gullible but this sure does show that I am.
