Type of a scam Fake Check/Money Order
I have been putting in applications for the mystery shopper program and received an email saying I had been selected for a job. I was told that my packet was being sent priority mail and that once I received it I was to deposit the money order immediately and after deposit clears to withdraw the funds and go to the money center at Walmart. I’m to keep 200 for my payment and send the remainder to their accountant in Indianapolis, Indiana. Once I opened the package and saw the large dollar amount on the money order I knew it was a scam. Please don’t fall for this.
