Type of a scam Online Purchase

When purchasing tickets online for a comedy show, this fraudulent online ticket ‘agency’ showed on first on the search engine and when one clicks on it, it appears to be legit showing calendar of theater events/shows with links to purchase tickets. When one goes through their process of ‘purchasing’ tickets online for a show everything feels ‘normal’ until the final step in which they are supposed to send the customer electronic tickets via email. Instead what one receives is ‘confirmation’ of "tickets" with row indication, but no seat numbers nor electronic tickets, however they do charge your credit card so you’re essentially paying hundreds of dollars and receive nothing (zero electronic tickets were ever sent by this fraudulent company, not even fraudulent electronic tickets). When one inquires, the fraudulent online ticketing outlet asks for more information (which was not supplied) and for the victim to click on a link provided in their email to complete their customer service satisfaction ‘survey’ (which was not clicked on because it was obvious with zero electronic tickets supplied that they were either going to release a virus onto my computer by clicking onto their link or try to elicit more private information from their victim). I reported this to the credit card company the fraudulent company made their charge on. The credit card company looked investigated the matter and upon completion of their investigation, determined that I was not to pay a penny to the fraudulent seattle-theatre.com company thus all charges were dropped from my credit card. Kudos to the credit card company for their part in protecting their clients!
